I could not for the life of me figure out that deleting a color value in the profile editor is indeed permissible and renders it transparent. And here I was trying to find out how get rid the "black box" blocking my bg. I guess now I should start -gaming- like a pro :P Posted on: December 2, 2011, at 02:41:23pm [0 comments] Oops. Did I leave out an exclamation point there? No. I want MOAR! But seriously: I don't have AAA's cuz of all the easy stuff I don't wanna whore. Everything up to lvl6 should be AAA'd. Maybe all 7's as well (blame my mental blocks in bursts as to why I can't just say "all 7's" atm). Too many goshdarn songs in this game. I know all the old-school pros would hate what I'm about to suggest, but a rolling archive of songs would be the stuff. New ones come in, old ones out. You wanna keep the "gems"? Fine, but archive them and don't put them on the scoreboards. Noobs shouldn't have to play 1000+ songs to fairly compare with other FFR players. Videogame sequels don't need your scores from the previous installments to 100% them. Old levels should be dismissed, imho. Anyways, I could go on but that was a tangent. Yay I got 200 AAA's but my caliber is capable of more, yet the backtracking required is not worth it to me. This is why I'm waiting for the new TP system (which may still count AAA's but screw it). Oh, and while I'm at it, I've currently got 666 FC's. Mwahahaha! Posted on: November 14, 2011, at 07:11:41pm [1 comment] Hajnal. Long time coming. Always got torn apart at the rolls at the end. Not to mention it takes a little endurance for me to make there. Other than that I was sure I'd get this one soon. And there ya have it. Sry I've no evidence. I'm not a screenshot-every-good-score kinda guy and I'm not big on the replays (depends). So that's what...5 FMO FC's now? Not bad for one-hand? EDIT: This FC got me double-digit tier points! I now have 10! Which doesn't seem like much but dang tier points (now) are hard to get... Posted on: November 1, 2011, at 11:25:46am [1 comment] A crutch? I just figured out that if I line up my button configuration, I do horribly because I've always reached "up" for the up arrow. So when my config goes straight across, I slow down or just miss-hit the up arrows. However, learning to perform with a lined-up config may be easier on my hand and could mean easier reading (w/a proper 1-dimensional visual instead of 2). Yet I've always done well. I've gotten this far haven't I? I'm stickin' with what I'm used to for now. I'll take the "two steps back" when I've -really- hit a wall. But wow I did not know that trying that would hurt me that bad (every up-arrow was a chore, lol). Comment wall
