My configuration...

A crutch? I just figured out that if I line up my button configuration, I do horribly because I've always reached "up" for the up arrow. So when my config goes straight across, I slow down or just miss-hit the up arrows. However, learning to perform with a lined-up config may be easier on my hand and could mean easier reading (w/a proper 1-dimensional visual instead of 2).

Yet I've always done well. I've gotten this far haven't I? I'm stickin' with what I'm used to for now. I'll take the "two steps back" when I've -really- hit a wall. But wow I did not know that trying that would hurt me that bad (every up-arrow was a chore, lol).

   If you're playing one-handed and don't want a "straight line" config or a config like the arrow keys or WASD, you could always try 'curling your hand around' and using a config like TYJM or something. xD
