GDI versus Nod
Inspired by the Command and Conquer series, I have decided to make a game dedicated to the ongoing conflict in the Tiberian Universe between the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod. You make take part in this conflict simply by copying the most recent post, making a modification that is within the rules for a turn and then reposting.
The Rules: Each side has a Command Center with 500 life. If this command center is destroyed, that side loses and the other one wins. Each turn, you may take an action equivalent to 1 turn worth to further the cause of either side. Each side has unique abilities as well as abilities in common. Each ability takes a turn to execute, and for abilities that require Tiberium, the side must have mined a sufficient amount of Tiberium to execute the ability, and the Tiberium is subtracted from the total. Abilities of Both Sides Mine Tiberium: Add 3 to tiberium accumulated Fortify Command Center (5 tiberium): Add 10 to the maximum life of the Command Center Train Infantry (3 tiberium): Add 2 to the attack power of the respective side Train Engineer (15 tiberium): Fully repair Command Center Built Tiberium Miner (50 tiberium): +1 to tiberium accumulated each time it is mined Build Tank (30 tiberium): Add 10 to the attack power of the respective side Attack: Deal attack power of respective side in damage to command center of the other side. GDI Abilities Train Commando (9 tiberium): Add 5 to attack power Train Mammoth Tank (100 tiberium): Add 50 to attack power Orbital Cannon (500 tiberium): Destroys Nod Command Center Nod Abilities Cyborg Training (80 tiberium): All infantry now add 5 attack power instead of 2 Obelisk (100 tiberium): -50 to GDI attack power Kane the Prophet (300 tiberium): The next time the Nod Command Center would be destroyed, it is instead returned to full health I simplified the rules a lot from what I originally intended so people wouldn't get confused and the game would move smoothly and quickly. I hope everyone enjoys it. No double posting, and no posting back and forth with only one other person or any other cheap tactics. Happy gaming. Each team starts out with just a command center, no army or tiberium. I'll take the first turn. GDI Command Center: 500/500 Attack Power: 0 Tiberium: 0 + 3 = 3 Nod Command Center: 500/500 Attack Power: 0 Tiberium: 0 Mine Tiberium GDI NEW RULE: 1 post per day per player

Re: GDI versus Nod
I'm going to laugh when Guido bans you because this may or may not be a 'non competitive thread.'
P.S. I don't get it, what's the purpose of this one? P.P.S. I don't want you to take offense to this, and I certaitly don't mean it to. |

Re: GDI versus Nod
It's a competitive thread, but boiled down to two teams in order to make it simpler and reduce the chances of people screwing it up. If you played anything from the C and C series you'd understand it better.

Re: GDI versus Nod
I don't mind playing it, it seems like conquest. Just don't want to get in trouble like th e monkeys VS robots game. Let's get some Guido feedback first.

Re: GDI versus Nod
This game is somewhat amusing; let's hope that others join in. I don't want this to be one of those games where they just go back-and-forth between two people.
GDI --------------- Command Center: 500/500 Attack Power: 0 Tiberium: 18 Nod --------------- Command Center: 500/500 Attack Power: 0 Tiberium: 12 Mine Tiberium for Nod. |

I never make it through the OP post in these kinds of games.
