Firefox Bug?
So I started Firefox this morning and the main Google/Firefox page didn't load up. I just ignored it and typed in www.f (usually the whole address pops up in the browser list with just www.f) in the address bar to come here. The browser list never came down. I typed in the rest of the website and it brought me to FFR. It seemed strange that the browser list wasn't working but I just kept going. When I tried to go back a page by pressing the back button, it was still transparent. I found this reeeeally odd. So I go up to check on the History and the History box is totally blank. I closed Firefox and opened up Internet Explorer and it worked fine. Something is wrong with my Firefox browser, are any other Firefox users out there have, or have had this same problem?
Everything else seems fine, its just History isn't recording, which is why the browser list/back button isn't working. I can't think of why the main page isn't loading though.

Re: Firefox Bug?
This isn't very rare, at least I'm going to say it isn't because upstairs on my computer, I can't add bookmarks if I type the "www" in the bookmark URL, the back button is nearly always transparent, every once in a while it feels like working for me though, which is nice . I have the problem with my homepage also, it brings me to the mozilla/google page instead of FFR which should be my homepage, I have FFR on the displayed bookmarks so it's not really much of a bother.
Reinstalling doesn't fix this (at least it didn't for me), I don't know what's wrong, this only happened to my vista desktop, none of my other computers (and I do have other vista computer it didn't happen to so don't say it's vista's fault you vista haters). You can hit backspace to go back pages btw, this helps. I suggest reporting this to mozilla, though it's probably been reported already, it doesn't bother me at all though. Re: Firefox Bug?
Not exactly easy to fix.
If you have any bookmarks, and they are still alive, save them. Then uninstall firefox. do a search for any/all files everywhere with firefox, remove all folders a files after making sure it wont do anything to your computer. Then go in the registry, and find anything that has anything to do with firefox, remove those. Clean up your computer with registry fixers, defrags, memory wipes etc.... then reinstall. Even if it doesn't work, your computer will be faster anyways. xD

It sucks though because IE takes sooooooooooo much longer then FF does. Zag: Sounds like I basically need to uninstall/reinstall Windows. >.> EDIT: Uninstalled all Firefox Add-Ons, uninstalled Firefox, reinstalled Firefox, restarted computer, works now.

Re: Firefox Bug?
That sounds like a typical Zag suggestion. "WAEP EVRYTANG NAOW"

I never suggest wiping computers anymore, it's just the simplest way about things. What I was suggesting has nothing to do with reformatting or reinstalling. My suggestion would be like completely removing something from the face of the planet. There would be no record of it's previous existence except your knowledge of it.
