FFR Signature Toy *HOW TO USE IT!*
For those of you that like new toys.. I have one for you. I have an auto-sig generator that you can use on FFR or any other site. You simply put
Code:
[url=http://www.flashflashrevolution.com][img]http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/ffrsiggy.php?user=Synthlight[/img][/url] *WARNING* Challenge wins and losses not working 100% yet. FFR only correctly records the win/loss state of the person who accepts the challenge. This will be working asap. Challenge results started being recorded about 4 days ago. Cheers, Synthlight *EDIT* ADDED FUNCTIONALITY! If you add a &url= variable you can tell ffrsiggy where you want to grab your png file from. For the time being it must still be PNG format. So for instance take a look at this example http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...signature2.png after you add the img tags on the front and back, it looks like this. Keep in mind this is just a secondary PNG only difference being a change in color. You can use any png from any location that you wish. My only request is that you try and keep your PNG files below 20k. IP's that abuse this feature and use very large PNG files will be banned from use. Let me know if you have any troubles Cheers, Synthlight *EDIT* FFRSIGGY BUGFIX!!******************** Challenge results are now properly recorded!!!!!! ******************************************* *EDIT FFRSIGGY NEW FEATURE!!**************** ffrsiggy now supports a new feature that allows you to post your hi-score for any level on ffr. Code:
[url=http://www.flashflashrevolution.com][img]http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/ffrsiggy.php?user=Synthlight&level=secretzombieroom[/img][/url] You can simply add &level= and then put the name of the level minus punctuation and spaces. Most levels should work and if they don't, let me know. Happy to expand ffrsiggy Cheers, Synthlight ********************************** |

the only bit I'm leery of is that the joined date on yours is only 8 days before mine... It doesn't seem to reflect the correct joined date (mine does, but I know your's is wrong , and so is COTMFreak's)
Other than that, cool feature and it's really good of you to implement (and it looks good with the forum theme) but I know you won't loose sleep if I don't use it as my sig (since I really don't find sigs worthwhile). |

I will eventually code it to use external .gif or .png files or I may have a selection of 10 or so to choose from. I know that reach has expressed an interest in creating some of the templates if I do a multisystem.

Awesome sig generator Synth..it'l be even better when the challenge record works right, it will be an official way to count wins/losses.

Yeah, I basically saw LD's sig, took the script.. trashed all but 5 lines of the code and rewrote it from the ground up to work with FFR database and stats etc. It is still a work in progress but atleast it works.
