Having problems with my router...
( 2nd thread ever made )
Hi, I'm in need of assistance. I have a WTR54G router model and it's not letting me get online for playing against other people. Example: I'm playing my Nintendo DS ( Pokemon Diamond ) and I can get on the wifi and everything but when I try to battle someone it says certain person appears busy and on their screen it says that I fail to respond, or I get disconnected. Now, I opened the ports that are suggest / required in the following link: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc...s/firewall.jsp yet it still doesn't work, so I was wondering if I can get help from all of you guys. If you need more information just ask. - EAGAMES

Have you tried port forwarding?

Re: Having problems with my router...
Yes but for some reason it still isn't working. Maybe I did something wrong?

Re: Having problems with my router...
This dosen't really sound like a router issue actually... maybe theres a detting on your DS thats causing this? Other than that, don't know what to tell you.

Re: Having problems with my router...
Push the reset button or search for some software that you might need to install. Another good way to find a solution is to type out your problem on google. It's usually not only you who has that exact problem there might be many others that have created message boards and solutions to it.

Re: Having problems with my router...
I've always have had bad experiences with that router. IP Conflicts and the works. Networking is always tricky business.
