Jake Brown - X Games 13

Ok... so I'm watching the XGames

It's the big air competition, and Jake Brown is in first... he's going on his fifth run.. He pulls a 720 in the air, and then going up the other ramp, he loses control in the air, and falls, like, flat, on the flat surface of the half pipe.

It's like he jumped out of a building... I thought this guy was dead.

They go to commercial.... and 2 minutes later, HE ****ING STANDS UP. I couldn't believe it....

It'll be on youtube in like 30 minutes, will post link when it's up

Did anyone else see it?

I did i was like WTF and then i thought it was an asshole move on Burnquist to bump him to second.

It was Burnquist right i don't really remember

Yea but it would have been a lot better if Brown won, because then it would be like yeah i killed myself and still won.

Though good for Burnquist finally placing in big air

That ramp setup is nothing but trouble. Every time I see someone try something on a ramp like that, they just fall 9 times out of 10 when they launch off the QP.

Sometimes they even have noticeably bad speed wobbles when they get to the flat of the HP. Speed wobbles is what makes you fall when you try to ride on the back of a car or when you try to downhill on a board that isn't designed for it. Speed wobbles generally make you slam hard when they're especially bad.
