And let the Tournament Begin...

Same rules as listed before (and below). Each round will last 36 hours exactly. I will be going by Chicago time in case anyone is having trouble converting or whatnot. I'll be starting at 12 (noon) on Saturday Aug 4. The first round will be a little longer than 36 hours because I know that I don't plan on getting up in time for this. Hopefully this won't become a habit, but if I feel that I won't be able to be online for the end of a round, the song will be posted beforehand. Also, songs will be chosen at random unless there is a unanimous decision about what song to play. Prizes will be determined tomorrow.

EDIT: I'm accepting late entries, just pm me a score (round 1 only) and I'll let you enter. I'm not changing how many people after round 1 though so it will be harder. Also have the Stepmania DP Calculator SE, if you really cared what version, and I'll be using the default settings to determine the scores.

Also, please pm me your scores, I really do not want to be looking through this thread to get all of your scores. I'll be updating this with who has submitted scores in a little while. This should help, I believe.

Well, I don't really want to use machine scores that is me being lazy. If someone has a good way to do this post it here, I'm all for improving this tournament.

I'd really like to get this thing started asap. Yeah, its short notice, but I hate waiting. I might push it back a few days if there is interest but lack of people.

Submissions should be pms (PM all scores to PsYcHoZeRoSk8eR), also I don't want multiple pms from people if this can be avoided. I was thinking about doing both, but that seems like more work than I'm willing to do.

Rounds will last 36 hours. I was thinking 1 day, but that doesn't seem like enough time and 2 days seems too long.

I'll try and provide a link to all of the songs that are to be played but I'm not going to promise anything.

Also, I'll probably want some help with this, anyone willing to help should say so.

Don't use machine score unless the scores are far apart. As in, 95 million beats 90 million, but 99.995 doesn't necessarily beat 99.994. Please?

I would just go by which score looks better unless they're really, really close. Comparing dance points alone would work on speed songs, where nobody or very few people are AAA'ing, but not so well on MA songs, where a blackflag would be fewer dance points than an AAA, but not necessarily a worse score.

You could just set a goal number of people and start when you get that many.
