How can i find a good website to download Quasar, i did the version here, theres s simfile for it on FFR but i would like to have it on stepmania, so can someone give me a good site? i have gone to bemanistyle.com and went to the correct link, downloaded it, but then what? do i put it somehwere? and how? when i tried to open the file, my computer froze, it was like there was something blocking a window from coming up to open it, but it kept trying, so it would come then go away then come and go away and so on. can someone help me out a little?

Just open up My computer, your main hard drive, program files, step mania, open whatever song folder you want it in, extract it in there, close the folder, run SM.

It's easier to create a new directory for SM, or favorite it.

yea i know that i can do a quasar in FFR, but i want it in Stepmania, so i can change the speed and rate of the thing, i can almost get a perfect combo on the simfile FFR quasar. but i want to be able to do it in stepmania like arch did. and like, yea i know how to extract it, all i gotta do is extract the file and then install it in SM, the only problem is when i try to extract it its like it freezes up, to the point where nothing works and i have to reboot, its like a window pops up for a sec, then goes away for a sec, then on and on and on. it just never loads.

but stepmania works fine. im playing songs that are already uploaded on it.

Like i said, download a .zip or .rar, unzip/rar it and throw it in a folder with other Stepmania songs.

EDIT: If it freezes up your computer, delete the old one and redownload it again.
