need help with screen shot (not an avg ss, look inside)
alright, so i want a new av, so im like "ok, let me pop in my family guy dvd and look for a good pic, then take a ss" so when i take the ss, and bring it into paint, it doestn work, it is still showing the movie? so im like "mirco soft is gay and did something" so i try 2 OTHER programs, 5 clicks and capture from analogx, and it still didnt work, so then i try this viplay program which supposovly takes ss's, but it didnt work either, so im running out of ideas here, any suggestions?

DONT DO IT LIKE THAT... (ive tried with clips from snl)
i suggest using a digital camera... put it (the dvd) in a regular dvd player/ps2/xbox and pause it on the part u want. then take the pic, crop everything else out, and resize it so itll fit... should work

umm.. well a complicated way of doing this is too use front cam (or any other, hopefully better quality screen recorder) record the thing off the dvd you want... save it, play it again in real player (preferably the newest one ( i think real one)) and try the SS like that.. if that doesnt work.. do as lightswitch says..you might just need to go for a different picture

print screen doesn't capture the video image from ANY video playing software. Like Moogy said, get a digital capture card.
Or maybe if you're lucky, adobe premiere can save single frames in a picture format, I don't know the program well enough to have any idea if it can.

Re: need help with screen shot (not an avg ss, look inside)
man..the print scr can not help you to ger your favorite images........
you should try some professional screen capture program such as ACA capture PRO or snagIT... i prefer ACA,, Not only the video in the windows, it can capture video in any area of screen you selectd.... i think the ACA really can help you out..... By the way, there is the details about the features of ACA capture PRo |

Oh how I enjoy locked-thread posting.
Well, you're on your own from here. I've been up for way longer than 20 hours and I haven't had nearly enough caffeine to keep me up long enough to cover the amount of work I did today. |
