Story Mode
Yeah dont know if this has been suggested already but i think it would be cool if there was a FFR story mode. Basically when you first start you would begin at the easy songs and once you get a certain score/FC you would unlock the next song. Different scores could like get you differnet medals or something for each song. So when you start you would begin on trip to the moon or w/e. Get a certain minimum set score and you get a bronze medal plus unlock. FC = silver. AAA = gold.
I dunno jsut something that would make FFR even more addicting |

Re: Story Mode
Well, that's kinda how it is for the secret songs.

Re: Story Mode
not really, secret songs you just need credits. this will however make it so you have to beat songs to unlock other songs.

Re: Story Mode
don't like it, just because for many people... it is a complete waste. like, we've all already AAAd every easy song. and would have a score good enough to unlock every other song...
but... perhaps it is something for 3rd style.

Pfft, anyone can pass that mashing.
The gold star should only be awarded for a score of 65% or more. |

Re: Story Mode
um no i got plenty credits, over 9k. just want a mode that you play songs to unlock other songs. not songs that are already secret songs, but say you beat trip to the moon, you unlock halcyon and so on

Good idea, I like this idea =) and it's like you use the arrow keys to move around and press space bar to talk to people and they challenge you in songs and stuff!

Re: Story Mode
I like this idea. It kind of reminds me of the tutorial that was suggested in another thread.

Re: Story Mode
I dunno, imo I think it would suck, every time I play any ddr game I always want to get past all of the easy crap. If you need to improve go play easy songs, simple as that. It might something for newbies to do but if you want to get better there are lots of songs out there to pick from, then when you're bored of a song you can choose one of the other many amazing songs! Instead of having to WAIT until you unlock another song.
Imagine a multiplayer game where you havn't unlocked many songs... "Omg Uber Rave is sooooo good we should play it!" "Nah man I can't, I still gotta finish Trip to the Moon then I have to do all this other **** before I can get that far." Who the **** wants to play trip to the moon?! I say, skip the crappy songs and let me play what I damn well please.

Re: Story Mode
as long as there's a way to get around doing story mode then I'm fine with it. There is already the tutorial though so I think that newbies are ok with what's there. Possibly something to do if synth gets bored but otherwise I don't think it'll happen, they're too busy.

Re: Story Mode
A story mode is pretty much out of the question. FFR is an online game. It doesn't need a story mode. And i'm pretty sure all DDR's don't have a story mode. T_T

Re: Story Mode
obviously u havn't played ddr then, unless you're talking about the older ones. ddr max didn't but play ddr extreme or ddr extreme 2, and ddr superNOVA. All of the new DDRs have a story mode.
