I love DJ shadow. He is my favourite DJ next to DJ Krush. His music is very moody and atmospheric. Check out his website, some of his music is there. His new album is mainly him featuring other artist and rappers etc. So if you do look through his site check out songs and videos from his earlier albums. Check out his Myspace as there are loads of videos there. I Suggest you click "Six Days", "Organ Donor", "Number Song", "Walkie Talkie" and my favourite "Midnight in a Perfect World".

"Six days Remix". I prefer "Six days" myself, although the SoulWax remix is awesome.

He's pretty cool, but really, a lot of his songs are just other people's that he adds in extra beats, like in organ donor. >_>

I'm okay with sampling other songs, but man, he just samples everything.

He's know for being the first DJ to only use samples in his songs. He makes songs out of samples so to say.

I mean, yeah, don't get me wrong, DJ Shadow is awesome, but I usually prefer someone with a bit more... ehhh... originality I guess. Danger Mouse for example.

Now THAT guy knows what he's doing with samples.

Danger Mouse produced Gorillaz's Demon Days, he was the second half of Gnarls Barkley, made the Grey Album, second half of Dangerdoom, make a Paris Hilton prank cd, second half of The Good, The Bad & The Queen...
