FFR Medleys?
Lock this if there is anything against the rules or anything.
Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to do a medley of the best songs on ffr, or like a medley in every section of all the songs in that section. I would gladly make these and submit them, but I'm not to smart with computers and would have no clue how to even get the music together. Just throwing it out there... |

Re: FFR Medleys?
You mean like how MAX Forever is a medley of a bunch of DDR songs?
Probably possible.... but it would take someone having access to all of the songs, which is much less likely. Best bet would be to have one of the musicians make a medley of their own songs. Like Jewpin, SGX, or Spook... as those 3 each have about 10 songs on FFR... *shrugs* Not a bad idea, just hard for most to impliment. You should try contacting one of those 3 artists (jewpinthethird, sugergreenx, and spookg are their ffr usernames... you can find their AIM names through their ffr names, most likely. only jewpin is active on the forums anymore) as they are your best shot at having this accomplished.

Re: FFR Medleys?
Ok, thanks for the suggestion. I'm willing to do anything I can to get these. I thought of this idea a while back, but didn't ever get around to actually asking about it. Would it work if I found a couple songs that might sound good together and told the artists about it? Could they all share the songs to come up with a medley? Sorry for all the questions, I'm so non-computer....ish. I guess sgx would be nice, a lot of his(her?) songs are awesome in my opinion and have basically the same beat so they would be nice together.

Re: FFR Medleys?
SGX is a guy. I don't know him personally... never talked to him. Jewpin, I've talked to a few times... and Spook, I've talked to many times and even met once.
SGX... I'd try his webpage, to get a hold of him. www.supergreenx.com. His AIM is not listed on FFR, and he while he DOES post on FFR, he does so fairly infrequently. Spook... very friendly guy if you approach him correctly. His AIM is SpookGoblin. Jewpin... also very friendly guy... AIM is skaskate2. GL with your search. I'd try contacting those 3 and trying to work with them, find out their opinions on your idea, etc etc.

Re: FFR Medleys?
get in touch with jewpin through AIM... he's online right now.
And my mistake. Spook's AIM is Spook Goblin, not SpookGoblin.

Ok, thanks, I might be getting off pretty soon though so I doubt I'll have time to talk to anyone...

Re: FFR Medleys?
Spook gives blanket permission on his website (for the FFR section) as long as he gets a copy of the file. Although his BPMs vary widely.

Re: FFR Medleys?
I was going to suggest something like that but differently. Synth should make a nonstop for R3, like DDR. That would pwn.

Yes, a nonstop would pwn. I like that idea, and almost suggested that one a while back too. Back then though, I wasn't very active in the forums, only just recently.

Re: FFR Medleys?
nonstop wouldn't work. many of us can FC hard songs 100% of the time.... *shrugs* would just be a war of attrition to who could play the longest.

Re: FFR Medleys?
I would enjoy a non stop song that didnt have rankings, like it takes your overall rank, and if your overall rank is between #-# it generates a nonstop song dependant on your skills. It would be great for practicing endurance also.

Re: FFR Medleys?
nonstop sounds cool to me. if some one knew how to get intouch w/
DM Ashura we could make a good medley. I thank he's on broadjam.com, but I'm not sure what that is (never been there) |

Re: FFR Medleys?
....clearly we have contact with Ashura already, as we have multiple songs of his on FFR between R1 and R2.

Re: FFR Medleys?
Nonstop with non-regaining lifebar and songs increasing in difficulty (starting with, say, 4.5) would be pretty cool...see who could last the longest.

Re: FFR Medleys?
Start with 20 life points (full life bar), no regain except for maybe 1 at the end of each round or 1 for every FC or something like that.

Re: FFR Medleys?
No regain is better IMO but let the player pick ( why not?)

Re: FFR Medleys?
Ya, if that happened I would prefer having a choice between no regain and a little every round or whatever. Looks like my little idea sparked a discussion of many good ideas.
