Battlestar Galactica
This is, without a doubt, the most brilliant show on television. Ever.
I'm not talking about the campy 1978 version, I'm talking about the 2003 miniseries and 2005-present series. It is jaw-droppingly good in a way I didn't know filmed entertainment could be good. Powerful, thrilling, moving, engaging, at times shocking, and always very dramatic. Anyone else seen it? |

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Bump because I found a trailer for it. Hopefully this will convince some people to give it a try.
It's everywhere on BitTorrent. I got all of the second half of Season 2 from Mininova, and the rest is there also. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XG80ybRRf5c |

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Not much of a Sci Fi fan either, but I started watching this show for Lucy Lawless. It is a pretty good show.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Never really watched it. If you say it's that good I think I'll check it out.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
This show is probably the best show on TV. I didn't really start watching until the middle of last season, but as soon as I started, I was instantly addicted. I'm looking toward to the next season too. I saw a commercial on Sci Fi but I'm not sure on the exact date. I think its sometime in March.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
I love this show more than [edit]almost any other show on television, and I cannot wait until Season 4 starts airing. I still need to watch Battlestar Galactica: Razor, I'm saving it to re-pump me up for when Season 4 is nearing.
Seriously everybody go and watch AT LEAST the new mini-series pilot deal, now. NOW. |

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Really dont wanna bump this but, WOW. The last half of season four has become such a clusterfrak. SPOILERSA mutiny aboard galactica, they found out the thirteenth tribe went to earth, then had a civil war of some sort and nuked themselves to hell. One prophecy (or two) have yet to be fufilled. Kara Thrace will lead the human race to its end. She is the herald of the Apocalypse, the harbinger of death. They must not follow her. Hmmm, nothing has happened so far so this one is possibly yet to be seen.
MAN, you're an idiot, xinpig... Last edited by GuidoHunter; 02-12-2009 at 06:17 PM.. |

Re: Battlestar Galactica
Thanks for spoiling everything.
I might've watched the rest of it one day (not really because it's super-boring) but now I have no reason to do so. |

Re: Battlestar Galactica
It's available on iTunes, so instead of driving out I think I'm going to download an episode and give it a try.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
You can also watch in on SCI FI Rewind. Streaming, no download. Quality isn't as good, though.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
So this is pretty much it, huh? Battlestar Galactica finale. Will miss. It had a good 4 season run, better this way than to drag it out for 2-3 more seasons like most shows always do.

Yep. Now we wait for Caprica.
And I can't believe this thread is from 2006 and still only one page long. |
