Whatever happened to the store?

Hey Everybody,

I'm not sure if this post should go here, but I didn't see a better option. I was wondering what happened to the FFR Store. I assume it was shut down, but I really wanted to buy a FGJ CD. So if somewone could tell me where I could get one (if the store truely is gone) I would appreciate that. Thanks!

Aww man...I want a FGJ! CD...then I could start spinning at local clubs or something to bring something new to the scene besides Dieselboy and The Prodigy and Chemical Bros. and Crystal Method and all of them popular people. Of course, the only actual dance clubs are in Dallas and I ain't goin to Dallas just to spin at the Lizard Lounge or something...
Of course my whole idea is absurd and doesn't relate to the topic one bit. Good day.

I think it went down, along with the radio server and stuff... I'm not 100% sure though.

You guys could probably contact SpookGoblin and tell him you are interested in CDs or something... Dunno if he can burn them or not but just try anyways...

There are tons of issues with the site right now. It's one of many that need fixing and will be dealt with over time.

Do you mods and other workers on the site get paid or is it all voluntary? I might be able to do a little something to get things up faster.

It's all voluntary. Positions such as forum and chat mod are given to select individuals who deserve and can use the status to better the site. Technical assistance is often a position volunteered by users who can offer it. If you think you can offer to help FFR via tech work I suggest you IM "lightdarknessFFR" on AIM. Or send him a PM via the forums.

Well, I probably won't be able to do any tech work. I could do like...contacting people and stuff. Example:
Alden to Website Server Company: Gives us our damned store back!
Website: Screw you.
Alden:Hey buddy, if it weren't for me, you wouldn't be drinking that delicious coffee right now!
Website: Oh yeah? How so?
Alden: Cause I spit in it!
Website: I admit, it does taste good...I'm assuming you want the radio server back up?
Alden: Yes, and our simfiles would be nice
Website: OK, fine.

As you can see, we win!
Seriously though, I could speak for you guys, I don't have anything better to do besides play this game. Plus I have 3MB's of storage on both my email addresses cause nobody ever emails me...
