MXC
On Spike there used to be a show that aired called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC). I think I first saw it in 2007? Looking back on it, it's amazing what jokes I missed in the commentary. Commentary adds a lot of humor to that show.
Apparently it only ran as a series until 2007 and there aren't any plans on bringing it back. It used footage from Takeshi's Castle and has some hilariously bad english dubs (on purpose). I was wondering if anyone else has seen this series before, and what some of your favorite moments and/or lines were. As a tribute to this show since I enjoyed it while it lasted, I'll be making my avatar an MXC wipeout for the next two weeks. Day 1: Day 2: Day 3: Day 4: Day 5: Day 6: Day 7: Day 8: Day 9: Day 10: Day 11: Day 12: Day 13:

Re: MXC
Last I checked, you could watch the whole series on Hulu. Haven't checked in a long time, but I watched all of it again. Hilarious show, I highly recommend it. Kenny Blankenship's most painful eliminations of the day is a classic top ten.

"Right you are, Ken."
"And speaking of the criminally insane, here's Guy LeDouche." "You see, that's Steve Smiley, and Steve here is hopelessly addicted to optimism."

Re: MXC
So many random little moments that get me, I don't even know where to start lol. There's often someone named "baba ganoush". This running gag gets a chuckle out of me 100% of the time. I'm also a fan of Guy LeDouche and Captain Tenneal.

Re: MXC
This bought back some memories...but since I'm an old fart, I can't quite remember details. Sadness.

Re: MXC
My favorite episode of this show was the America vs Everyone show, or something like that. Really worth a lookup. Holy crap was it beautiful.
Or was it Canada vs Everyone? I forget, it was a country vs everyone episode. It had the game where you have to hop across rocks in the beginning. Last edited by gold stinger; 11-11-2016 at 06:51 AM.. |

Re: MXC
I fucking love MXC. A few years ago I just watched all of them in like a month. Perfect smoking show
My favourite episodes are all women/women vs men episodes. They always dress up in crazy costumes and you get to see that sweet Japanese 90s fashion. And they are usually hella cute when they fall and stuff |

Re: MXC
This is some really funny shit guys ^-^ I remember watching this show when I was younger but I didn't really appreciate or understand a lot of the jokes and commentary like I can now. "The scary uncle" LOL that one got me pretty good

Re: MXC
Been a while since I watched any MXC, but it's still great. I'm a huge fan of these obstacle course shows, like this and Wipeout. MXC is definitely the better one of the two, though.
