The Future of FFR
What do you guys think FFR will be like in 5 or so years, after more of the recognized players feel as if they might be getting "too old" for the game, and new players will come in. What do you think the condition of the site will be? Do you think the site will be more active, or slowly decrease until there's a seldom few who frequent the game from time to time? Do you think the skill of FFR members will continue to grow? Will there be new mods? What do you guys think will happen to the site over the next 5 years?

Re: The Future of FFR
Like many other rhythm games, the community will diminish. It's just a matter of slowing the rate of degradation by continuously providing things to maintain a new and fresh environment.

Re: The Future of FFR
I don't see myself ever actually leaving the site. I will probably be less and less active over the years but I never see myself leaving completely. As for what I think FFR will be like in 5 years? hella mad gay.

Re: The Future of FFR
More 6-8 minute long charts except 95+ difficulty
The current active users might be less active, but I'm with WV here. I'm certainly not leaving this site. |

Re: The Future of FFR
1 year- new mods
2 years- new influx of members, older "mature" members leave 3 years- the game reaches a new audience, 8-13 year olds 4 years- 30+ pony songs 5 years- i'll probably be d7 (oh yeah I really dont know what will happen to the site in 5 years probably some crazy shit) |

It's really hard to say when this website has quite a long history already.

I can see it suddenly disappearing again, and that's pretty depressing. I've been here a long time.. |

Re: The Future of FFR
1 Year: We run out of space on the server.
2-5: Site still down because we ran out of space. 6: Someone finally installs the new hardware. 7: Legacy songs finally removed. |

Re: The Future of FFR
Maybe the site will have mostly pop music from the radio, and the variety will be mostly gone >.< I don't think this site will be mostly inactive in only five years though.

FFR has been up for 10 total years (approximately one year of downtime) so it definitely has potential to last a much longer time. |
