This is what happens when I increase c-mod
POSTING FOR ALEXDEST
Raised my c-mod from C860 to C950 today... had significant improvements. Warm-ups (both on C860): Really good MA/PA Eh, improved by ~10p. This can be DDP'd with some more practice Now I up my c-mod to C950 this time and... Heh, DDG'd Blue Planet CB rushed a lot of the second huge stream run but the accuracy is really good MA... Had trouble trying to get a score like this.. wrecked Teach me to quad minijacks master dynamer Also two scores I got yesterday: Good PA, how to near DDP this? oh puppet

Re: This is what happens when I increase c-mod
Note that he's using the mod "distant" which essentially makes the speed mod slower than it really is.
For instance I normally used C765 without the mod but with it active I had to increase my cmod to C950 and eventually used C1000 comfortably. Now I use C909 + distant since my new computer runs SM differently and it affects the visuals for some reason Also, depending on the version of SM you use, the amount of scroll space can vary and thus your cmod will be different. I've seen cmods up to C1200 when using a particular version of SM and the distant mod. All told though, there are some crazy people who can read at insane speeds (Staiain reads pretty fast comfortably). I've also noticed that many ffr users read at low speeds (~C600 on SM 3.9). probably because they were used to ffr before speed mods became available. then there's kenji who could get ridiculous scores at stupid speeds (anyone remember his Quasar 1x score?) Anyways off-topic here, sick scores Alex Last edited by Dynam0; 01-22-2013 at 05:44 PM.. |

nice stuff man, welcome to the 950 club (ya i've switched to overhead for now but i roughly equate distant-reading to CMOD/1.2 on overhead). blue planet and trixie are especially sick, how2speed
