Windows Wallpaper
I found the idea of it on a website, but then the link to download it was dead, so I just made my own version of it. Maybe somebody out there likes it and will use it too.
EDIT: it's 1920x1080 Last edited by flashflash master; 04-20-2012 at 10:06 AM.. Reason: Included resolution of image. |

you took a stock image of wood, repeated it, and poorly drew the windows logo. needs alot of improvement. |

Re: Windows Wallpaper
I didn't actually draw the windows logo - I took a stock image of it and changed the color of it.
By any chance does anyone know how to make the logo look recessed into the wood? I'm using gimp. And also, thanks subin! |

Re: Windows Wallpaper
...Good thread.
Try changing the blending mode of the layer the logo is on to "darken" or something that will have the texture show through, but with a darker undertone. Right now that just looks bad. After that, add an inner shadow to the top to make it look like the angle of the indentation is inward.

Re: Windows Wallpaper
