iSketch word list
iSketch is an online pictionary simulator that uses its own as well as community word lists/categories to pick words from. They allow users to send in their own word lists to be added to the list of categories, but you need at least 1500 words. They can actually be words or phrases, with the phrases separated by line breaks.
Anyways, I am making a word list for FFR and Stepmania terms/songs/people/etc. Obviously this would be a bit of work to do on my own, not to mention I would miss lots of things to add in; I'm requesting the help of the FFR forums. I just need you guys to post suggestions on what to add to the list until we reach at least 1500 words. If you wouldn't like to contribute, or are just going to post that it's a dumb idea (I already know that) then you should probably save it for someone else's thread. current word count: ~211 current list: |

Re: iSketch word list
Disagree with KIWI. I feel that some important people are a must have
Some suggestions: - Take off inside joke words (dicksoak, meguca, coobie, pennis); known to too small a fraction of the community. - Regarding names of people, I think that it's difficult to have a fine line for who is regarded as significant enough to be included, but there are some people that I feel would be necessary to include, whether it comes from this generation or older ones. This also applies to packs and simfiles. Gotta do your research breh - Consider communities outside of FFR. This includes 'related' areas such as stepmania.com, SMO, KBO, TS, RF, but also even more obscure areas, such as R21, SMOC, Vocamania, BX, SMG, ODI, etc. Naturally you won't be able to incorporate every community, and whether we're biased towards certain communities will be okay I think cause a) it's a very unofficial game/genre and b) other less notable communities I don't think anyone really cares about. - Concrete, absolute technological terms are a great place to go that have little bias. This includes patterns, note types, game mechanics, game structure, game modifiers, etc. - The problem with Stepmania as a category is that it overlaps a lot with other rhythm games, especially DDR (and ITG). That being said, if something like Dream Theater can get in as an isketch list, I don't think you will have to worry too much about adhering hard to absolute terms of stepmania specifically. I'll herupu you later when I'm not busy
