Socket AM3 cooling advice needed
With Christmas right around the corner I thought that I'd ask for an upgrade heatsink/fan cooling for my phenom II x6 processor. Its currently running on stock air. Heres the full system specs:
case: COOLER MASTER Elite 430 motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) videocard: ASUS GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) harddrive: Seagate Barracuda XT ST33000651AS 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s psu: Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W other: AeroCool Touch 2000 Controller I'd like for the price to be no higher then $80, and would rather have air cooling. Here is what I've been looking into: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185147 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185093 Also here is the dimensions of the case to help get an idea of what will fit: Dimension (W / H / D) 190 x 424 x 490 mm / 7.5 x 16.7 x 19.3 inch What do you guys think? Any suggestions/comments are appreciated! If any additional info is needed let me know. thanks in advance! <3 |
