OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
Unlocking this skill token is proving pretty difficult for me - I've tinkered around with all sorts of speeds and methods to try to hit the arrows, but nothing is getting me even close to unlocking it. I've unlocked other skill tokens such as Starman which require weird timing to get, so I'm pretty good at mistiming already - this one though, is a real challenge.
Are there any specific tips or tricks to unlocking this one, besides playing it over and over again and getting a bit of luck? |

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
Hit your boos at the start just enough so you have no life in the bar should be 8, hit early and try to hit the exact amount of goods, try for avs if not pray, and miss after you get the combo but right before the final miss arrow passes (should be a yellow up arrow I believe?) Hit your remaining boos as a jump on the right side, thats about it, also try to get 2 perfects but you'll usually get those anyway trying to hit the other stuff. Got it in about 200 to 300 tries using this method.
(Better explained in the post below by iironiic since I used his method)

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
My attempt:
Set autofail to 8 misses Quadmash two sets of boos (8 boos) before the first arrow (feel free to stick in a 9th boo as well) With the first ten arrows, hit as many averages as possible without missing. This will give you a few goods (hopefully 4 goods and 6 averages) The 11th and 12th arrows should be up, up, or down, down (depending if it's mirrored or not) Hit those two perfectly. Wait until you fail the song (let the arrows miss). The moment after you fail the song, tap an extra boo. By repeatedly doing this, it took me 30 minutes. Obviously this will require some luck haha. I'd say it's efficient enough since I know some people who spent at least an hour or two on attempting to unlock this token. Good luck! :] |

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
Right here. :P
Autofail 10 boos, 3 perfects, 5 goods, 7 averages. hit 2 quads before the first arrow resulting in 8 boos. Hit the first 2 notes perfectly. Luck out and manage to get your goods/averages in the next 10 notes. STOP AT 12 COMBO. Miss the rest of the notes until the "up right" gallop passes and hit 2 more boos with a left down jump. profit. EDIT: just got it 3rd try. Good luck I might also add that I've successfully completed this token requirement over 50 times with this method, but iironiic's works too.

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
This token really pissed me off, mainly because it's just Gigadelic from SM...
Anyways, what I did was get 6 boos before any arrows came, and then got 2 perfects on the first two notes. After that I just lucked out on getting the right amount of goods/averages (I think I lowered my speedmod to 1.25x) by hitting early, after that you'll have 12 combo so you miss 8 in a row and then do a quick jump minijack for the other 4 boos (you can do 8 boos in the beginning first but the minijack made me remember to wait for the 8th miss to register). MAKE SURE YOU WAIT FOR THE MISS TO REGISTER - I wound up with 2-4-6-7-10 a few times, and boy did I enjoy that.... |

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
I got it in a similair way to doss. Only I went for avs and got the 4/6 good/avs and then hit notes 11 and 12 as perfects. Miss 8, autofail on 8, quad boo as song is failing out after 8th miss.

Took me about 2500 tries, LOL. Patience is the key, along with the strategy those mentioned before.

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
That's some shitty advice
I think I did it the way iironiic said, just seemed easier, in any situation I think the good/av count is pretty much going to be a luck run. So just find which way you find easier to get your boos/misses/perfects |

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
Wow, thanks for all the advice! Not really that tough once you break it down into a strategy. Only one skill token left - now if only I could AAA Reality...

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
If anyone in the future wants to try, look at my replay. Hit boos in the beginning, anti-PA until the 3 up/down arrows, miss until 8th and 16th note left-down/up-right arrows and then hit boos to end life.

Re: OMGWTFT0k3n - Any advice?
Yup - I'll probably get it in a day or two. I started up playing FFR again less than a month ago (I hadn't played since before the site went down) and found out about the new FFR Veteran thing, and had 2.1 billion and realized I had almost hit three years. I'm at like... 2.925 billion now? Pretty close...
