Default Paranormal Activity 2

Has anybody seen this yet? Or is anybody going to see it soon? I saw it yesterday & that was pretty scary to be honest. I don't get scared that easily, but I think it's because that entire movie was real footage..

I still have an incredibly hard time believing that all the stuff they showed actually happened.

EDIT: okay, lol. I guess it isn't real, I didn't see how it could possibly be real, but I was convinced it was after my friend's parents told me it was. >.>

Yeah, lol. How do you think there were like three endings to Paranormal Activity 1?

It's remarkably fun to suspend your belief for 90 minutes though, and the PA movies provide such entertainment. My friend and I saw it last night--we were both freaked as hell and we both agree that it was a really good sequel.

Okay, for one, Paranormal Activity 1 was based on a true story. The true story is that of which the San Diego Police Department released footage of an incident that had happened. The three endings to that movie were just directors put in and what not to make it more suspenseful. The movie itself was based upon a very true story.

I do not know about number 2 though. I haven't read anywhere or seen anything relating it to someone's life. But, since it is the same director (if I'm not mistaken) I'm pretty sure it is based upon some persons life. I have seen the previews and it looks freaky as hell, but hopefully it's better than the first in the issue that they SHOW some form of the demon or itself. The first one showed shadows and her getting pulled outta bed, which was creepy and all, but I'm more of the GOD DAMMIT SHOW ME THE DEMON NOW type dude haha

I don't believe in ghosts - nor do I believe in the presence of them. It's going to be very hard for me to feel frightened of something that I simply don't find real. People can sit there and tell me their ghost stories, and I'll acknowledge them. Personally, this movie (and the former one) is probably a waste of time for me.

(Also, Frankie - didn't you tell me you and Eric were practically motionless/terrified after watching the first movie?)

Apparently 2 is a lot more scary than 1 was. The first movie was extremely boring with a few parts I gasped at.

The first film was garbage, therefore, the second film is garbage. I wasted my time/money on the first one, and I'm not even going to bother with the second one.

I didn't even see the first one after a lot of people saying how **** it was.

When it's on Blu-Ray for really cheap I may pick it up.

Movies like this are significantly better really early in the morning after a long day.

I don't know if I will go watch it on the movie theatre though. Did the same with the Pulse movies. Saw the first one in the theatres and ONLY bought the sequels on DVD, I will probably do the same with PA 2

Movies like this are best seen in theaters

As far as this movie goes though I'll probably go watch it when I have the money. I saw the first one in theater at a midnight showing and walked home because I'm a fearless badass

So if a paranormal phenomenon started to agonize you, you would just say: Who Cares?

Get the joke?

Pulse made me laugh.

Paranormal Activity 1 made my ex-roommate and I not go to bed. Believe me when I say if you do believe in ghosts or anything it does put quite a damper on your parade of sleeping. If that makes my old roommate and I look bad, so be it, it scared us. The Exorcist movies scare the **** outta me, big deal.

Either which way, it don't matter, yeah the first one did make me jump and creep me out mainly cause I DO believe in ghosts and spirits. I've seen some **** in my day to prove they do exist. I can just tell you about a place in "weird PA" called The Seven Gates of Hell, and that's all I'll say.

I just read about PA2 on yahoo news and most people are saying its MUCH scarier than the first so I'm interested in seeing it just to compare. More or less I think the Saw Movies def. kill ratings of PA2 but I might as well see it to believe it lol

I'm just glad that PA2 doesn't follow the mainstream nowadays and go 3D. I seriously dislike the 3D format.

They are good movies. Every suspenseful. PA 2's ending was horrible though, although the entire movie was awesome.

You contradicted yourself.

I'm going to see PA2 today, although I don't believe in ghosts- It's really fun to scare my girlfriend.
