Re: Tilt-Shift Filmography!!
The way it's filmed makes everything look like miniatures.
Pretty badass.

Re: Tilt-Shift Filmography!!
I always wondered what Tilt-Shift would look like filmed, lol. Definitely one of the best time lapses I've seen too. o_o

That's a really cool filming style! More people should try that one out.

Re: Tilt-Shift Filmography!!
Interesting. A shame it doesn't have much value in film other than "hey look at this funny shot!" I suppose it could be fun in things like music videos, ads, or short films though.
But after seeing a still shot like that, why would you think it wouldn't be possible for motion? Video is basically just a collection of stills shown in quick succession. In a related matter, are you guys familiar with HDR? That's an example of something where, unlike what I just implied, motion was impossible in practice even though stills have been around for a while... but I saw a HDR video a while back. Now that's something I could get excited about. ps that's not what the word "filmography" means. You probably mean cinematography.

Interesting stuff here. I was actually just learning about HDR the other day in class.
But to add to the thread, someone either sent this to me or I found it somewhere recently. Similar, but this is more on the stop motion end of things. http://philipbloom.net/2010/02/01/th...-of-timelapse/ |
