My Idea for The Unlock xbox challenge

The idea:
I propose a 2D ninja game where you must race through enemys and obsticals as quickly as possible in order to save man-kind.

The game would have an easy control sceme so even the newest of gamers could have loads of fun playing it but the complexity of stringing moves together and getting your speed up by finding new quicker ways of defeting enemy and doing everything flawlessly brings in a challenge that even the most advanced players will find exiting.

Think of the game as a cross between say an old Mario game and a Sonic the Hedgehog one. exept you have a sword, magic powers, an almost completly destructible enviornment, and dragons, robots, and whatever else you can think of trying to stop you, all while the earth is moments away from being nothing more then a memory.

The game starts of with you (just a normal kid) waking up to a normal day. You grab a bag o doritos and begin to devor the bag when suddenly a giant worm bursts through the wall and ommits a shrill roar. You grab the sword off your wall and instantly slay the creature. At this point techno music plays as you begin to run through the level. the music gets more intence the faster you move and as long as you do everything flawlessly that can be quite fast as you never lose momentum.

As: You go through the game you will learn powers such as:
Ice, Fire, and Earth manipulation, teleportation, addrenilen boost, dobble jump, jumping from wall to wall, and many more. You gain all of these by finding items in the levels.
