Re: Geek Squad?
i'll help ya but first NEVER trust geek squad, I used to intern for them.... worst experience EVER as most of the people that work in the store don't know jack **** about virus protection, and the black ops are stuck up and you gotta pay big money for them to actually work on your machine. Well first off do you know what virus ya got? I find that if you do a sweep in safemode with CCleaner, malwarebytes, spybot S&D (preferably in that order) will get rid of 99% of your problems. To make sure the issue can't get back you should update all 3, immunize your system with Spybot, and then go to safemode and do the sweep. I hope that helps your issue.

Re: Geek Squad?
Geek Squad is probably the last place you'd want to go for tech support. Most of 'em try but they really don't know what they're doing, and their managers well generally take away any opportunity for them to charge reasonable prices. Looks like you ran into some dicks but usually they're not that bad.
