Guitar Hero Revolution
Hey, I was searching for a way to fix one of my X-plorers, when a FFR thread popped up in my Google search.
Link So I tried it with my (working) Xplorer, and it was super awesome. But I didn't want to bump that thread, so I posted this. Does anyone think they could make that script do hammer-ons? Like, if you press another button within a time-frame, it hammers on. I don't know any AHK so I couldn't do it, but I'm sure someone could. I think it would be really cool for someone to improve that script. Also, the reason for this thread is that I didn't think it would be okay to bump a thread all the way from mid '07. Hehe. So, anyone think it's possible to improve upon Kekeb's script? |

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
Even if there is a function to get the current time, I don't think there is any static variables, so it might not be possible to find the difference in time between each pass through the script.
Unless there is a built in function that tells you the time of the previous run through the script. |

Wouldn't there be some way to check using Sleep?

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
Well, that's a delay I think. Anyway, there is also no way to detect if the last button you pressed actually hit a note, so something like hammer-ons are probably not possible.

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
Well, it doesn't have to be exactly like GH.
It could just try to hammer-on after a strum. |

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
That's the problem. I actually started writing a program to take AHK out of the picture (with the addition of HOPOs), but I lost interest after I wasn't able to address this issue. That and I was having troubles with FFR detecting simulated keystrokes.

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
Tell Kekeb that, not me.
EDIT: Ninja'd by Kekeb. What are the odds? <_< Also, like I said, it doesn't need to be exactly like GH. :P Last edited by NeoMasterPie; 03-26-2009 at 02:30 PM.. |

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
What's so wrong with making a program for people who want to do this?
It's not like it's actually being put into the game. |

Re: Guitar Hero Revolution
Well, for 1, you probably couldn't pass anything above Tricky with this (unless hammer-ons were implemented).
For 2, I track my scores with this on a different account. |
