F.E.A.R. 2
I just bought this game, and after playing the first mission. I must say that it lives up to its expectations of being better than the first one. I played the first one countless times.
One thing I don't really enjoy is the multiplayer is still hard as crap. You're either really good or really bad. Thought I would have some other people's thoughts if you have played it yet. |

Re: F.E.A.R. 2
I've played the demo a few times and I think I'm going to buy the first one first and play through that to see if I'm going to like the series.
Would you recommend buying this if I've never played the 1st one, or do you recommend playing through the first one?

Re: F.E.A.R. 2
I've never actually been a big fan of F.E.A.R. in general. Just not my cup of tea, I guess...like Bioshock. Good game, I didn't like it.

I'm not that far into it to see if it cross references from the first or if it's a totally separate game. Although it has the same creepy little girl so quite possibly you might want to play the first.
Rather, why not play them both? I'm sure the original isn't that much money anymore or you could even rent it and finish it. |

Re: F.E.A.R. 2
The game is meant to be able to be played if you have never played the first game. From the demo to the actual f.e.a.r 2 game, was a drastic change. I'll just tell you one thing, you do not start alone and you do not start in/around a freaking school. I was confused for a few about that. I can't wait to play some more tomorrow at my F.E.A.R. party.
Goodness, i've been super excited about this game since before it was even rumored about. I beat the first one, including the damned expansions at least 10 times each. I love the series and HOPE TO GOD it still is f.e.a.r. and not a new game with the f.e.a.r. name on it. I heard mixed emotions about it, and am a tad bit anxious about it.

I'd get it for the computer, I hate FPSes on consoles.

That's exactly what I got it for. I actually bought it too, usually I wouldn't, but this time I did. I support the company a lot, enough to buy it another 3 times actually.

This game is badass. I played the demo three or four times. I tried playing the first one recently, didnt like it all that much.
