Whatever happened to this?

Just wondering. Why can't we have like FFR R1 Graphic Artists? They make backgrounds for new songs and, like, people have the option to turn them off (only for the new ones, gotta preserve the good ol' stuff).

I mean, I for one would be ecstatic about this. I'm sure a lot of others would. It would give a new inspiration to the site for some of us that are just kind of... losing it.

Hm. A prequel to 3rd style's BG additions? I like the idea. Making them optional is necessary, but I do get sick and tired of seeing only black.

Artists would have to make sure that they darken their BGs too so we don't have another Party4U. xD

I do like the idea, though.

Going by the general course of threads and statements from most users, the songs with backgrounds are among their least favourite -because- of the backgrounds, and there have been FAR more threads asking to remove the ones that exist than there have been threads asking to add more in.

Also: While removing backgrounds or adding backgrounds is probably as simple as just putting files into folders, the ability to turn them on or off would require additional coding, which requires additional man-hours and thus money to pay for it.
