Default Isn't winter amazing.

I just walked to my bus stop, which is about 3/4 of a km, waited there for 5-8 minutes then walked back. That's a total of 25 minutes outside.

Did I mention it's -40 degree's celcius.

I was wearing a longsleeve with my school shirt over top + a sweater and + a massive winter coat, pyjama's under my school pants and two pairs of socks.

Nothing helped, I can't feel my legs, hands, face, and arms.

With that much clothing you should be warm, that's bs.

It's about -35 with the windchill here on the South Shore in Quebec, and I walked out with jeans, 1 pair of socks, my pumas, 1 shirt, 2 sweaters..and some gloves cause my car steering wheel is frozen..it's not THAT bad out body wise.. Now, the wind burning the face and fingers ok nothing can be done :P

In Paris i wore: Thermal pants, thermal t-shirt, woolly socks, Jeans, a t-shirt, a jumper, a fleece (with a hood on, which i had up), and a jacket and that only just kept me warm enough to be outside for about 2 hours. Oh and a Scalf and Gloves.

But you Canadians should be used to this weather!

Well not every Canadian is winter resistant, there are lots of babies and softies :P
I'm pretty good when it comes to the cold, I don't get bothered unless it's -40 for a long period of time, which is almost never unless it's snowing like hell out then I'll complain..getting in and out of cars or crossing streets or whatever, not a problem.

Lucky you, paradise every day, damn man!

Also, I don't ever wear a coat in any point during the winter unless it's incredibly the worst ever peak cold/snowfall of the winter then I might consider it, or just do nothing that day and let it blow by :P

Edit: CTV news reported it's -36 right now with the wind chill and it's slowly dropping

lol ... Winter resistant.

Well if you can handle - 40 then your not a softy. I can barely handle England when its 1 degree + making me extremely soft.

I'd rather be too cold than too hot. I hate sweating. So, England is pretty much the right place for me.. would prefer Scotland, though..
Plus, with it being winter, I have an excuse to wear my skullcandies out of doors, and make all the little weird, "omg i think WoW is so awesome 'cause ozzy osbourne promotes it" bus kids jealous.

Well you just went to your car, try walking against the wind for 7-8 minutes at a decent speed (so I don't get late) stand in the cold for 8-9 minutes then walk back.

When I got home, my coat was cracking on it's on, like making cracking sounds and my sweater had frost on it (it wasen't even damp or anything).

lmao it really sucks when you walk to the bus stop without knowing there's a delay that day so you wait outside for 20 minutes, no bus comes, you walk back home frozen.

Psh, wind chill is a load of crap.

It's 3 F (-16 C) here and not windy, making it really bearable. Supposed to be -7 F (-22 C) and windy tomorrow though...

Oh ****! Sounds like old man winter is nipping at you personally ha ha ha! Well I don't know, I used to play ball hockey in jogging pants running shoes shirt/sweater pair of crappy gloves and a hat all winter every Saturday and yeah it got bad when it was -30 but only because if I under dress I'll be freezing and sweating and if I overdress it'll be hard to play and over sweat :P

Edit: Wind chill makes everything worse though, if it's just -30 to -40 without much wind, that's nothing though. Just the wind is impossible to avoid, especially the Montreal residents walking in the city, the wind picks up like crazy and it's horrible down there

Yeah I wonder why we do that here in Canada. It's cold as f*ck, and we walk out in running shoes and a sweater like it's fall or something.

I'm used to it. I have been in worse.
But I love the -40 temperatures except when I have to walk to school.
