Axis Longboards vs. Iron Cobras

I'm getting into hardcore/death metal, and I've fallen in love with double bass. I've been using my friends double bass pedals, and now he wants them back, and so I ask you. Which double bass pedals should I get?

Axis Longboards

or

TAMA Iron Cobras

I don't play drums as of yet, but I;ve watched people use the Axis pedals on youtube, they seem to be amazing, and good for heel toe.

yeah, I've been doing some research also.

It seems that both are good for heel-toe work, and both are light for fast singles.

I agree with phynx with the iron cobras and the customization, with the spring and "power glide"

I don't know because the axis seem to be more sturdy and almost a little bit quicker

aren't the Axis pedals a lot more expensive too?

yes

Axis = ~$500

Cobras = ~$350

I don't know if it's worth the money or not, right now I'm leaning toward the Cobras

Well, if they're both nearly the same in quality, I think you should go with the Cobras, use that extra 150 on something else needed:P

those ARE really nice, but I can't spend that much money
