Gears of war 2 opening night, FFR bash.
So obviously the key question, is who is getting Gears of war 2, the night it is released?
I figured maybe a few XBL players who also play FFR, would maybe want to play a few multiplayer matches, the first day the game is released. Not necessarily that night, however that would also be cool. Also what are you exited about in the game? One thing I am antisipating is now grenades can be stuck to walls, and act as proximity mines. |

I will more than likely buy it on Thursday because I can't go to the midnight release. I don't have a ride home....

Kmay the story gets boring, its the multiplayer that makes it the best game ever made.

the story of the first one wasnt exactly a hook for me. The second chapter looks and sounds soo much better. The trailers for the game look pretty amazing, like for instance, the Last Day trailer.
For me, its all about the story. Multiplayer for me is so secondary to me i dont even look forward to it XD |

Re: Gears of war 2 opening night, FFR bash.
I went to the midnight release just to hang out with some friends, not really a big fan. So far I've only played the campaign and it sucked...but I'm assuming the multilayer is going to make up for it as I loved GoW1's multilayer.

I just picked it up. Too bad I have to re-setup my 360 before I can play it. It should be good, but I'll only get a few hours in this whole weekend. But more on that later.
For anyone that doesn't have my gt and wants to play, just ask |

Re: Gears of war 2 opening night, FFR bash.
Ok, so I finished the game part last night. Pretty good story. I hope they plan on making a third, but if that has already been said somewhere then I just haven't read it. I'm probably going to start playing online in a few weeks after I finish this quarter of school.
Anyways, I suggest going out and getting this game. 1, it looks beautiful. 2, it plays fantastically and really gets you into the game. 3, because I say that it is a pretty good game. |

they should already be working on the third installment. Earlier, Clif said if the game did good another would be made.

Re: Gears of war 2 opening night, FFR bash.
Well this sucks, I bought the game and was really excited to play it. (I better be because I waited outside for about 3 hours for it) I sit down and turn on my Xbox. First thing that appears when my account signs on is, You are currently suspended and you need to change your payment option. Would you like to change it now. I was like what?!? Well I call Xbox live and they say I owe $15. So I can't get on Xbox Live until I pay that off.. I don't know why they didn't take anything off of my card. There was money on there for them to take. Oh well.....
