La Tale

La Tale is a casual Korean 2D Side-Scrolling MMORPG game developed by Actoz.

In this tale, though, the story of adventure and discovery that unfolds all revolves around you. The word "La" is a bit trickier. La is a word, but it is also a musical note and much more. Likewise, La Tale is rich with beautiful music, art, and storytelling. Together, La Tale becomes an incredible journey across strange and beautiful lands, tying together swords, sorcery, science, art, music, and much more. This tale began with Iris Livier. Now, the journey to uncover the mystery of Iris has become your story.

This game basically plays like MapleStory but has nicer music and graphics in my opinion.

How is the exp gain in this game? Is it long and assy like MapleStory?

I'm 165 in that game and that took uh 3 years...... I don't want another long tiring game. D:

Game's been out Sept. 18th and the highest Level is a 69 right now.
It's very nice EXP, even though we, the americans get 3 times less exp than the asians (JLaTale) but it doesn't feel bad, I mean I am Level 31 in MS and it literally took me more than a year, I am 33 right now in La Tale and it took me 2 weeks of casual playing.
Also there are lots of quests, some of which can be done up to 3 times which will help,
I barely had to grind in this game... ever.

I'm assuming he's playing as much as the top guy played when Maple Story first came out. That guy reached 70 in 5-6 days? If we're talking about way back when Maple Story beta was released, that happened a little under a month, but we also didn't have as much content like Ossyria.

Downloading it now, will post IGN and such when I have a chance. I heard this game is not too bad, but nothing special, but it's definitely different so it might last a while I'll take a chance.

Ummmm... I can learn a combination skill. What are the skills? Which one should I go? Also what is the next job level or whatever? 30?

Since it's on the ogplanet site, is it safe to say I can use the same Login ID I used on Cabal, or do I have to make a new one?

EDIT: Looking at the jobs, I'll probably be an explorer or a wizard. Maybe a knight, but I'll wait and see what it looks like first.

Actually, is there a class that benefits from bare-fisted (knuckle, right?) fighting?

Knight has good knuckle use. I was trying it but I'm not a fan to be honest. x.x; So I'm going to use sword.

I think I'm liking this. IGN is currently "Fineus" - Level 2 explorer with a knuckle. =)
I'm adding everyone's IGNs into my buddy list now.
I'll look up some vids later, Jason, but for now, I'm just going to give this a try.

EDIT: I guess this is one of the games where you have to be online to do that.

I'll add all of you people if one of you would be so kind and add them all at one spot so I just have to Copy paste :P
Also there are bunches of combination skills to choose from but it doesn't matter which one you get since you can not use them yet. (they haven't implanted them yet

)

Also the one and only job change you will get is at Level 80 :/

PS: Engineer does not exists... do you perhaps mean Explorer?

Do NOT be an Explorer if you are choosing to be Knuckle. If you want to be an Explorer, be a bowman/xbowman or else you will not be able to kill anything by level 15ish.
Knuckle is UBER weak if you're not a warrior, honestly. Why do you think Knuckle is available to all classes? It's just a backup melee for close range whenever..

Knuckles are for knights... the only class that lets you use knuckles when u upgrade to next class is knight then to guardian.

Got the explorer up to 18 and switched him over to using daggers.

Also, I decided to go ahead and make a wizard. IGN is Noshi, and it's currently level 10. I'm looking at using the wind magic and the healing magic, even though they're technically different elements. =P

EDIT: Oh yeah, Fallen made a guild. It's called "htmlrulezd00d" or something like that.
