Re: Hurricane Florence
If OP wants to look on the bright side of life maybe they should consider that at least they aren't in the northern Philippines right now.

Re: Hurricane Florence
Lucky. I wanted to stay in Houston for Hurricane Rita and Ike. Parents said nope.

Re: Hurricane Florence
Was just checking out what's going on over there on the coast. Right now it actually looks like a normal day in SE Michigan (We do get winds that high randomly).
...OP, this may be your last chance. You sure you want to stay? This'll probably be the only time frame to get to safety. If you wish to continue on this path, then be prepared (and hope you are) as others have said. Not just in supplies, but for the unexpected to happen. |

Re: Hurricane Florence
Also, hope you know how to power nap. You'll probably want to be active for majority of it for the unexpected.

Re: Hurricane Florence
Yeah, just saw this morning that it apparently weakened enough to a category 1 tropical storm.
Still pretty dangerous, but it won't be as devastating as predicted. |

Re: Hurricane Florence
Hey, everyone! Just letting everyone know that I'm safe. I'm in a good location and didn't lose power till recently (using my phone's wifi to update this). I've got plenty of supplies (about a month's worth) so I believe I'm going to be okay. Thanks to everyone that expressed their concerns, I appreciate all of it (even you, choof )
EDIT: I love you all <333. Last edited by reptile3141; 09-14-2018 at 07:16 AM.. |

Re: Hurricane Florence
I simply posted a video that covers legitimate science from the founder of the weather channel and haven't stated anything malicious against anyone and 5 of you get so triggered you have to verbally assault me without any refute? This was about Choofer and his fucked up response to this thread when he said that carolinians should die because they are conservative christians and don't believe in climate change.

Re: Hurricane Florence
yea I guess we should just disregard terribly alarming warnings from the majority of climate scientists because people do their own research
