Re: Holiday Gift Thread
Got my dad chocolates, mom and step-dad a snowglobe with a cardinal in it, got my older sister a hard copy of Humans of New York, burnt a CD of some recent stuff I've been listening for my youngest brother, and my second youngest brother I got Arboreal by The Flashbulb.
And so far I've received from a Secret Santa exchange on a Tetris forum an old Tetris handheld: Last edited by danny53x; 12-25-2014 at 08:18 AM.. |

Re: Holiday Gift Thread
Yeah it's easier for me to just get money on the holidays since I can pretty much get what I would use, but I wouldn't mind receiving an actual gift

Re: Holiday Gift Thread
Pajamas, Socks, A case to put bathroom items in, Gloves, 2 shirts, 2 pants. Work sent me 2 large packs of bacon and pancake mix. Got myself a 750 GTX ti for my Mini itx htpc computer thing. Replaced a 560 gtx that was getting to 85 celcius.
Bought a 760 gtx, i3 cpu, harddrive and powersupply and built a computer with this girl I know. Edit: It was for her if that wasn't implied. Last edited by Izzy; 12-25-2014 at 12:00 PM.. |

I'm more excited about giving things to people, ask AJ. But nothing wrong with enjoying the things we get as well. I manage to shock AJ every year with what I get him XD

Re: Holiday Gift Thread
Christmas haul thus far:
Ripley's Believe It Or Not: Download The Weird Reverb Clip-On Tuner $100 Amazon Gift Card Hohner 32-Key Instructor Melodica ZOOM G1XNext Pedal Hardwire DL-8 Delay/Looper Pedal (That I bought myself and my mom thinks she bought) Probably another pedal that my mom actually bought that didn't come yet Some foods and cash What I gave to my sister that I'm proud of A $20 Whole Foods Gift Card wrapped in tape, wrapped in paper, wrapped in more tape, wrapped in more paper, wrapped in more tape, shoved into a DVD case, taped more, wrapped in paper and then taped, shoved into a box, wrapped and taped, shoved into a bigger box, seams taped, shoved into one more box, seams taped, and then wrapped like a regular gift. Holy shit my mom was obsessed with that exact thing like a decade ago.

Re: Holiday Gift Thread
I just opened presents and I am pretty happy with what I got so far for Christmas.
- custom made mug with a giraffe drawn on it (from the gf) - a jar of peanut butter (from the gf) (i also love peanut butter) - 20$ visa prepaid card - 30$ itunes gift card - New thermal top for working out - New pair of asics running shoes - New pair of workout sweats - New pair of dress socks (about 3-4 pairs) - 4x4x4 rubix cube - a bottle of tequila - New leather jacket - fancy shaving kit (i hate having facial hair and constantly shave) - bottle of cologne I still have to spend Christmas with my gf's parents soon, and from what I've heard, I'm supposed to be getting more gifts (this is probably the most gifts I have ever received during Christmas. I hope everyone is having a great time for their Christmas. Much love~

Re: Holiday Gift Thread
oooo
You're gonna wreck shit. Blue switches are awesome. Just a heads up the chord that plugs the keyboard in is a little uh, finicky at times. Mine likes to turn on screen lock and then spam keys for no reason when it's moved too much. I don't actually know why it does that though. I mean I've taken pretty good care of this keyboard (cleaning it constantly taking good care of the chord as best I can when I do decide to take it with me somewhere ect.) |
