This is exactly why I believe the Garbage Bin should be located in a separate place within the front page. Everyone would have access in it, and people could post silly threads without worrying about them being locked. In addition, since the Garbage Bin would be publicly seen on the front page, fewer people would feel compelled to make these types of threads in the Chit Chat sub-forum.

I thought it was closed to public because people kept walking in and getting their ass flamed by the regulars. That ended like a week after it went closed because everyone realized nobody is coming because people are being dicks. TGB is actually a somewhat nice place if you get over that stuff.

Actually, since a lot of people think that The Garbage Bin is a comfortable place, maybe there could be a completely new forum category altogether: The Random Board. Does anyone agree with this idea?

*edit* Maybe there could even be a three thread-per-day limit placed on this new category so it wouldn't clutter up the front page.
