Killer Dance Floor [11 or 20]
First things first. This file has extremely high tension in it, it throws me off every time play it, and it has almost the exact same tension as Zodiac.
But why 20? Well, because some comparable songs such as Tron From Hell have related tension, but this has a midsection with tiny jump jacks which barely relate to the music but fit well with the theme (This is not a complaint). The end part always gives me at-least 4 goods (once i was lucky enough to blackflag it) and the portion of it with the end may throw people's AAA off because of how silent the end beats are. Also, the music is loud, just like Reaper, which is why Reaper got bumped to a 3 right after the engine switched (3 means the old rating system, obviously). Then, you are greeted with the most obvious flaw, the center of the song, right after the chorus, the bridge. This section of the song does not correspond to the sound barely to at all! This part depends on luck to execute good and in Tron From Hell, there is no such section. In zodiac there are 16ths (Yellow notes) which may throw people off in certain occasions, but this song is almost completely composed of a stream at a little higher of a BPM. These are only some of the issues I have with this being so small of a difficulty. Please consider this change before outright rejection. Thank you.

Now for the discussion. The 16ths in Zodiac are definitely faster than the 8ths in KDF, on top of the 16ths being far faster in zodiac, the patterns are not as nice, it has jumps in the 16ths at a slow enough speed that splitting goods is easy, it has 32nd rolls, and broken stream that's quite annoying. The difficulty is also consistent throughout and has no breaks. KDF has very simple 8th stream with comfortable patterns and a few jumps towards the end. It has breaks, and some extremely easy 4th note parts towards the beginning as well as breaks and inconsistent difficulty. It has nothing remotely as fast as the 16ths and 32nds in zodiac, nothing I'd call real 'jumpstream' (jumps in 8th stream with breaks....well I guess it's jumpstream but it's SOOO slow), and zodiac just has more complex patterns and broken stream as well. IMO these files aren't even comparable but you know to each their own.

Re: Killer Dance Floor [11 or 20]
bump cuz it's been forgotten.
140 bpm, which doesn't say too much, other songs have 175bpm in this difficulty. The tricky bit of this song i found was the anchored jumps. stuff like [24][34][14] played la luna caida, pokemon GSC, seed, below the surface. this song seems to fit fairly evenly with those songs. Seed, below the surface are bit harder, while pokemon and luna bit easier. this song def shouldn't be bumped to 20. only 6s this is not. songs like keep on driving is a 20. i recon it's fine as an 11, or maybe a bump to 12 cuz of the anchor jumps. But at this difficulty, it's hard to make a judgement call.

This might be a song that's really difficult to rate if you're far past its level
I recall having a tremendous amount of trouble on the jumps in this song even when I could play songs 2 levels above it (old system) They were very awkward jumps

I'm glad you understand it from my standpoint. I'm still considering the bump, even after all this time, after becoming experienced at this. I understand that Zodiac is faster in general but what i can go as far as to say that Killer Dance Floor is actually harder. That's the original reason why I made this post. I AAA'd Tron From hell, and some harder songs. But I never came close for this. I know it's not a personal achievement rating but when the achievement is so far out of reach as opposed to others which are plenty harder it isn't completely my fault. Thanks.

Re: Killer Dance Floor [11 or 20]
I'll take a look at this file shortly. Last I talked to stavie about this thread, he replayed the file and said it was fine where it was, and I trusted his judgment given he had taken care of the lower end files. But I'll take a look.
I will point out though that 20 delves into old 6 or 'Tricky' range, and as far as I know, KDF was an uncontested 'Standard' file back in the day. edit: ok, if Secret Zombie Room is a 10, this is significantly higher, you're right nick...lemme just do some thinking as to where this should end up while I look at some other 20s Okay, Speed Kitty is another 20 with 8th jumpstream similar to KDF. At 160bpm, essentially 80bpm 16th jumpstream, it's a bit quicker than KDF, which is 140bpm like pop mentioned (70bpm 16th jumpstream). Speed Kitty has a few three note 16th runs, often ending on jumps, but aside from that, a lot of the file is filler. Given that KDF's jumpstream has much more continuity to it albeit running at a slower bpm, and even has a few subsequent jumps in the 8ths, I wouldn't mind seeing it at 20 like you proposed. Anchor jumps are decievingly hard at any speed.
