After it's downloaded and installed you just hop in and pick a server like COD5.

Exactly right, kommi. All the people I talk to about video games care about one thing and that's about graphics. It honestly drives me insane when people talk about graphics. Oh, the graphics are so bad, that's why I don't play.

Black Ops has many good aspects to it along with the good graphics (which don't really weigh much in this argument):
Large playing community
Good game to play casually
Fun for beginners
PUG are usually fast-paced

Problems though are the fact that almost NOBODY plays the objective, and that drives me to the point where I would love to smash the game. But I still like to play it once in a blue moon, so I didn't. In 1.6 or Source, people play the objective. Although, I prefer source, due to playing in many LANchamp tournaments, 1.6 is definitely the better game. I mean it has a larger playing community, requires skill to play and usually the people are friendlier. Being someone who goes in Source, gets a 100-3 score, gets me banned from servers. That's usually because you have randos crying about how you hacked and how you're walling. "You have an aimbot." "You use wallhacks." All the live long day you hear this, and it's like "Just shut up. Please."

Kids get extremely butthurt about dying, which brings me to the next point. Kids on Black Ops who cry about everything. "My game lagged (whine)" "Oh, no fair, he's hacking." "I usually don't do this bad." True signs that a kid doesn't know how to play, and one of the main reasons I refrain from playing Call of Duty games often. They don't deserve to be played in tournaments. But in terms of casual play, the franchise is one of the best FPS to date. Otherwise, it ranks pretty low.

BLOPS still doesn't run properly on my PC, or my friend's with a 580GTX Ti DS a d a first gen mid range i7. Still want my money back. If you're going to sell software make sure it at least ****ing runs -_- I'm wondering of it just doesn't like Intel or NVidea cause it runs smooth as shit on my friend's AMD/ATI rig. ****ing garbage.

For the record I can run MW3 perfectly.

My hardware isn't quite as good as yours but a GTS 250 1GB w/ 4GB of RAM and a 2.66 quad should be able to run without lag. It's completely unplayable at 1920x1080. At 1280x800 I can pull off a 1.0 KDR on a good day with about 15fps.

MW2 on the other hand, 1920x1080 AA4X @ ~40fps. Rape castle all day long. The only problem is it seems that every room I get is modded -_-

Why are you frowning on that? Honestly, their removal of Quick Scoping was the only plus to Black Ops.

I really don't see the joy of quick scoping. Woodie doo, you know how to shoot a sniper rifle like a dumbass and have the game mechanics do the aiming for you and basically autokill.

I swear if I hear another kid yell "YYEAA quick scope, you guys are all bad, that was so dirty man, I'm better than all of you" I'm done with Call of Duty multiplayer altogether. I already don't like it, why shit on it more with bad aiming mechanics.

(Also, why do people enjoy private matches, quickscope private matches specifially? you get nothing out of it, and for multiplayer, you're barely playing with anyone)
