Re: Pokemon Blue
Do it exactly like the video says, except catch a caterpie and raise it to Butterfree. It learns sleep powder at lvl18 I think. 5 fewer levels than you'd have to raise the wigglytuff in order to catch the abra. That's how I catch Mew.

Re: Pokemon Blue
Pretty much exactly what I did to catch Mew.
I didn't bother with it though until I had completed the Pokedex. Man, I remember my attempt to catch Mewtwo... I was in the damn cave (Red version, if it is any different) and I had saved right before fighting Mewtwo, and I had ultra balls and no pokemon with sleep powder or anything like that, so I had to rely on catching it by weakening. I got so pissed, because I spent literally like two hours failing at catching it with ultra balls and crap and then my friend came over and was messing around and caught it with full health in a damn Pokeball. I was so pissed off and happy at the same time. Ahhh, Pokemon, what a mix of emotions.

Re: Pokemon Blue
I only played Pokemon Yellow out of the first three. My team was of pokemon I just liked just because. It was Pikachu, Magneton, Gyarados, Dragonite, Sandslash, and Nidoking. I didn't really think much about what pokemon were best.
EDIT: This was my first time around beating it, though. I used Mewtwo afterwards and replaced some of the pokemon with legendary ones. |

Emithith: There are actually web sites and calculators out there that people use to abuse the RNG in Pokemon games so that, while it's still a hassle to breed the "perfect" Pokemon, you can at least start by catching good source material to make it less so. People talk of "hitting their seed" (sounds naughtier than it is) and watch every step they take to make sure the counter only advances as much as they want it to.

Re: Pokemon Blue
There are entire database lists of corresponding Pokemon to that glitch shown in the video, it works for more than Mew. People have a lot of free time and I'm pretty sure the game developers leave some of that kind of stuff open for use. I know in Red and Blue, you can get back on the SS Anne (that lying sonnuva ***** says it's gone NO IT'S NOT) and surf on people's heads as well as onto building rooftops in the right locations using one simple [and rather worthless unless you needed to go back on the SS Anne] glitch.

Re: Pokemon Blue
Starting new pokemon blue game.
Pokes I plan to have on my Elite Four team that I have rarely/never used before: Persian Sandslash Victreebel Current idea for final team: or you can suggest a semi serious team and I'll try to make it half decent lmfao EDIT: Just got to the elite four and I'm training my team. Everyone is at level 45 except Dodrio who is 43.(Gotta love pokemon stadium and being able to play at 4x speed) I have: Dodrio Kadabra Victreebel Starmie Sandslash Persian Also have a level 39 SurfChu that I just traded from my Yellow version. Just found my link cable which means Kadabra gets to evolve c: Still need to get a couple TMs as well. EDIT AGAIN: Oops just beat the Elite Four with that team posted above. Started at those levels, with Alakazam instead of Kadabra. I almost lost to my rival's Blastoise cause lul Blizzard doesn't miss apparently. Total play time = 22:25, so I was playing for ~5:36 on pokemon stadium. Not bad getting a pretty solid team and beating the elite four with straight level 45s. Used only 2 revives, somehow.
