We are doing away with Subscribers. Instead of being a subscriber, we will offer the special subscriber features to those who have attained veteran status. This is tentatively set to activate once you have been a member for 3 years or once you have reached 3 billion grand total points.

The current proposal looks like another way to procrastinate the design of a good system. Three billion score can be gathered casually in less than half a year. There's just no sense in forcing players to wait 3 full years for some simple privileges.

Devonin's suggestion sounds just about right to me.

Whatever it is & however it goes, I just hope I can get the veteran FFR subscription thing. ;P

I have ~2,900 posts
2.92 years
18.5Bil GTS

hopefully that's good enough.

Sounds much better than 3 years and 3 billion.

Would definitely be an improvement over 3 years or 3 billion. Would also be an improvement over 3 years AND 3 billion (which basically says to me that it doesn't matter how good or devoted you are as long as your account was made by a certain date). This way people who don't play the game much or are not involved with the community can't just pull veteran status out of thin air.

If something like that were to go into effect it would be pretty sweet!

I believe there are only a handful of members - active members may I add - that have been here since 2003 or 2004 with a slime number since 2002. Just leave it at the time users have been on here. No discounts.

Have something for Game Vets, Forum Vets, and FFR Vets (Game & Forum combined).
