Adobe Flash Player 9
The stable version that plays FFR better than 10.1 would be much appreciated. Can't find a reliable download on Google though I didn't look all too hard. Sick of 10.1's problems.
Link me to a good stable 9.x download?

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
I think they just need to optimize code for flash 10.
Every single flash game online that i play runs at 30/60fps including all the other rythmn games, yet I lag like a mother****er in FFR. Hmm... I'm sorry to break it to you but it is not Flash 10's fault -- everyone seems to believe that somehow, it's the administrations fault for not updating the game when the technology it uses advances. It probably is based on Flash MX code >_> I hope the new team does something about that. |

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
Exactly the problem with 10. It's unstable so to speak atm. Also, I'm strong to believe it is flash's fault cause prior to having 10, I never lagged like I did when I got 10. I mean, as soon as I upgraded I was like WTF. Shiit's supposed to be better not worse.

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
I can honestly understand your frustations, I'm going through the same issue.
Brand new computer - everything runs fine online and offline. I can play Black Ops max settings fullscreen AAx8 with Fraps at a constant 60 FPS yet a little flash-game named FFR is unable to run fluidly. I believe we should "point our guns" not at flash but rather at the developers and the admins. They need to advance when technology advances, simple as that. If we all look for roundabout ways to solve the issue such as downgrading to an older version of Flash we are not solving the problem at the source. |

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
Lots of SA here.. not sure which one is the most optimized, just try and see yourself until you have one that fits perfectly with how your computer works with flash.
http://flash-samara.ru/version_eng.html Funny how you're mentioning Flash 9/10. I'm using 8 r22 and it works perfectly too with Windows 7. Last edited by Etylukah; 11-24-2010 at 03:11 PM.. |

I don't think this was the same site I got it from, but it seems legit.

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
Using FF3.6 with FFRndanotherway temporarily solved most/all lag problems for now.
Now, seeing as my main browser is Chrome & I usually use the main-engine, I hope those problems will get fixed/optimized. Thanks. |

I was getting far too many random boos, misses and goods with my normal setup so I had to convert. I changed a bunch of things. Switched keyboards, switched from FF browser to IE browser, even had to open up a guest account on my computer to ensure extra resources didn't cause lag.

Re: Adobe Flash Player 9
I think he was talking about FFRs code. Not to be a critic, FFR is a great game, but I think it may be coded kinda crappily but I can't say **** cause I really don't know nor am I a programmer.
