Let's talk about booze
I'm about to enjoy a nice domestic, and a cigarette out in this gorgeous GA sun -- figured I'd see what people thought about the suds.
I'm a Stella fan all the way, but happen to be drinking on a Bud Ice right now because I can't buy on Sundays. |

Re: Let's talk about beers
Maybe we can just make this in to a general thread about alcohol, because I genuinely enjoy a sipping whiskey. I reserve it for social events/gatherings though, and yet enjoy beer regardless of if I'm at home alone or out and about.
You have any suggestions on whiskeys, btw? |

To keep this short, I really like IPAs. Mostly depends on what I'm doing when I'm drinking.

Re: Let's talk about beers
domestic beers here are awful, as are most american domestics.
The only canadian lager I enjoy is Labatt Blue since it actually has a kind of flavor. American beer my favorite is easily anything from Samuel Adams' catalogue Casual drinking I prefer Corona and lime My local brewery, Moncton's Pump House, offers a nice variety. It tastes amazing since it's fresh from the brewery (most beers you should be consuming within a week for full flavor, so anything you're drinking imported is **** compared to when it was brewed). Imports I'll usually get some Sapporo for a very easy drinking taste, and super smooth feel.

Re: Let's talk about beers
You know, IPAs it's taken me some time to get a real taste for. Too much bite, though they are extremely tasty.
Haven't had the pleasure of fresh-from-the-brewery imbibing yet, but hopefully I get to since you describe it as quite tasty |

Re: Let's talk about beers
kommi has nearly my exact taste in beer what the hell
I guess awesome minds think alike. But honestly, I'm not a huge beer fan. I prefer harder drinks when available. |

Re: Let's talk about beers
Harder drinks you say?
Do you prefer highballs, or drinking straight? What type of harder drinks!? I like sipping whiskey like I said earlier, but if I'm at a bar/club I try to go bourbon/coke. I used to be all about New Amsterdam + tonic, but I find that it's a very precise ratio needed. My favorite bar tender here in Macon told me about adding a splash of OJ to it though, and it's become my 2nd favorite drink to order. |

Re: Let's talk about beers
When they finally were stocking up Yuengling here in Macon I was all about it. I actually had to give it a rest for a little while because it just lost its luster a tad. I drink it as a nice chill Sunday beer if I buy it on Saturdays.
Spotted cow has been brought to my radar, or at least it sounds vaguely familiar. I assume it's only around Wisconsin though, right? I'll have to be on the lookout. If anyone reading this plays beer pong, what beer do you usually play with!? |

I hate beer, I enjoy the sour taste of sourpuss and I like to drink every kind of Bacardi rhum coolers, haha, I love the pink lemonade one though.

Re: Let's talk about beers
None of the beers brewed by the New Glarus Brewing Company get too far from home. It's safe to say that it's a purely local beer to the area. I only ever saw it when I lived in Madison.

Re: Let's talk about beers
I know I'm not 21 yet (turn 21 in march), and I don't condone anyone under the age of 21 to drink alcohol, but a beer I've always wanted to try was colt .45
Anyone know if they still make it? Agreed with Kommi though, Lebatt Blue isn't too shabby.
