They're the glossiest of the snakes that are still boas, and his skin is so incredibly well made I can't put my finger if he has a roughness script or just an awesome bump map/displacement map. Also, since this is a ice pokemon, the regular dragon reference are in fact crocodiles and allis but I guess for this one, snake seems far more logical.

Personally I love the skin, I can see you would expect a flatter skin since that's cleaner but if DS would render out a flat image I think you'd go back on your statement

Personally I've been around snakes/reptiles my whole life, I've dealt with some of the most rare and exotic reptiles on the planet at one of my past jobs, and the texture I used for Dragonair sits right in there with Boas and Kingsnakes. I guess everyone expects a Dragonair to be smooth, because that's how it's drawn in the cartoon, but I still see it as a snake...So it gets a snakelike texture xD

I might start doing a whole lineup of realistic Pokemon renderings, out of the original 150, which would you like to see next?

Might sound lame but do a magikarp. Would be sweet to see it realistic though.

DS I think if you DL the pokemon n64 duel thing in 3d you can mod it so yours is instead of the one in the game allthough I think the 3d engine might collaps with such a high render xD

Ever think about the evolutions of Eevee?

I think Espeon would be awesome as a rendering, but I don't know anything about this so I can't really say.
