Ok I just watched the movie online. xD

But, all in all, it was a good movie to me. Now the mayans calendar DOES predict this event to happen. Will it happen? We won't know until that day comes. I have read article after article about this event. Everyone is prepping for it, believe it or not. People in other countries literally pray for safety on this day. It's something that has a lot of people in an uproar.

Personally, I don't know what to expect. Maybe something big and bad will happen that day. Will the world come to an end? Probably not. But, then again, we won't know til then.

About the movie:

1. Animations were great, but a bit overboard.
2. Didn't like how they only incorporated the lives just THREE families.
3. It was DEFINITELY better than "The day after tomorrow"
4. Would watch again, to be honest.

Best way to determine if you like it is to go see it for yourself.

i dont think any of yall are realizing the main point to the movie. Yes it did show that the world was going to end and yes it does get tiring because i honestly dont believe the world was going to end. but that movie shows people from different nations working together to save man kind. dont you think thats pretty remarkable. People that you will never see working together were to save humanity. thats pretty remarkable but thats just me.

I agree, the movie itself was decent to but I think the main point was showing that we are all human and we need to look out for each other. All it is kind of depressing that at the end most of the remaining human race was made up of snobby rich people and Chinese workers. Even if it isn't likely to happen, who cares, they aren't saying it is going to happen. It is just a movie like any other.

Just got back from the 10:00 movie.

Some scenes looked gay, fake and stupid. But some were ****ing sick.

Other parts made no sense, like when the cloud of smoke is catching up to him when he's running for the plane, yet he has time to jump in the plane, then once he jumps in the plane the cloud of smoke catches up to the PLANE(yes that's right, he can some how run away from it, but once they're flying it catches up, haha).

The limo driving scene = pure fake.

The story was pretty good imo.

Anyways, was a long movie but worth it, not something I'd go see again, but was worth the money. The fat dude that kept denying everything the scientist would say pissed me off.
