Judge Nominations:
JX Bmah Electric Werewolf Behanjc Xandertrax Patashu (I still like his judging) Also, if I have an updated version of a file of a song that was in the latest queue before Tass stopped it, can I send the updated version in and it be swapped?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
lol. no way I could ever be a judge, I'm not good enough at the game to playtest files (which is usually why there are awkward patterns in my songs, btw. nobody really points them out during testing).
though they aren't awkward to me. I never have trouble comboing my own files in sm. I nominate kommi and patashu, they were great judges, and since tass doesn't care anymore, they should be reinstated. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Bring back Kommisar and Patashu with blu - that was a team for the win.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Umm, why am I considered a nominee when I'm currently still volunteering to judge? IIRC, only dore wanted out - and that itself might be temporary while he's busy.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
of course current judges (blu and bmah) can stay.
just one or two judge(s) that alternate dore may be needed. things required for judges are, - have enough simfile knowledge and skill - have enough motivation and time - trustworthy enough in personality also by adopting more judges, the judgement quality will be better but it makes the judgement slower. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Question: Will there still be "Hands = FMO" rule?

DUN DUN DUUUUN.
I still think so. Also, I won't pass up the opportunity to submit easy files to FFR. We REALLY need more of those in the game. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm guessing that it would still apply, but I'm not really sure. The original intent for that rule was to make FFR a functional game for the most part to every user, and that would include those who don't have keyboards that register three or more keys simultaneously by default.
For those of you who are well into the game, this would hinder stepping creativity for files of that difficulty, but from a internet traffic perspective, having songs (except FMOs and FGOs) be completely functional for every keyboard is more user-friendly. And once one decides to be serious about playing FFR, the former casual player with a keyboard that only registers two keys would be more motivated to find out how to make his keyboard register more keys simultaneously. Other than that, the casual player with the same keyboard would be turned off to find that a quarter of the songs on FFR can't be played to his likings - and that casual player wouldn't likely bother to modify his keyboard. That's pretty much how I understand the implementation of the rule. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
In addition to the keyboard issue bmah mentioned, there're still many people who hate hands and think they are complete bull**** (especially DDRers). so some restriction will remain because files without hands are needed, current restriction could be loosened a bit though.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Will we ever allow multiple charts per song and end the endless tyranny of 'every new song on FFR is a VC/FMO'???
