Re: 6 Key FFR
I can't tell on the video leonid posted, but on scottish's the guy is using 5 fingers for 7 panels. That's about as reasonable as 3 fingers for 4 panels, and it's WAY more reasonable than using 3 fingers on 6 panels. If you're only using 3 fingers, how are you supposed to hit streams or trills of just jumps without doing the entire thing as a 16th wristjack? (It's not really the one hand part I have a problem with, it's the 3 fingers part.)

Re: 6 Key FFR
If you want to play hard songs on FFR 6key engine with one hand, you should be as good as this guy on the video below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_3Jo298Bhg Yes, the video is fake (the author mentioned it), but you know what I want to say.. |

Re: 6 Key FFR
I think you are all missing the point I was trying to make. I did try spread; many times in the past; and I just never get good at it. I am actually better one handed. I guess it is just how I work. Anyway, I can still play 6 key and have fun without playing the insanely hard files. This is why I said you all missed the point. I never said I wanted to be a God at 6 key FFR. I simply said I was going to play and have fun!

Re: 6 Key FFR
I'm not hating on you lmfao do you not know how I work on this site
I don't care what style you play but all I'm saying is that if you don't play spread you're gonna miss out on a LOT mostly because there's not going to be a lot of easy files and all the files are going to be made for spread

Re: 6 Key FFR
I mean, if you can play one handed solo, bully to you my friend. Just don't expect a bunch of easy files to come your way.

Re: 6 Key FFR
One of the more common solo stepping techniques is to have one hand repeating a rhythm while the other taps out a more complex pattern:
I can only imagine that how hard that'd be one 1 hand.

Re: 6 Key FFR
That talk about 1 hand solo makes sense, I think I might try that. Looking at those videos it's like an easier version of a piano. But then again, I can be HORRIBLY wrong
