Re: XOON 4 submissions open
So just sent in Feelings From the Air v2. It doesn't seem to be in any of the packs anymore so I thought that I might as well send it.

Re: XOON 4 submissions open
(Legacy) Crossbone Battle Theme
Why does the Heavy chart have more notes than the Oni? There's inconsistencies with some jump and hand usage and overall there was absolutely no replay value in this file let alone anything notable that would warrant an accept from me. Rejected. (Legacy) Crystal Wind -Hisui Mix- Hard to distinguish your layering during the jumpstream parts. You had a lot of unnecessary mini-freezes which was pretty much just spammed. You may want to check the sync on some parts of the file because a lot of sections felt off sync. Rejected. (Cedolad) Cybertron I see that you don't like using hands. There were several opportunities for hand placements throughout the file that you avoided and left out which makes the file seem empty. Jacks for the most part seem accurate and as Kommisar said, it's just another typical DnB file. Accepting on the condition that a fix is sent in with hand placements, otherwise Rejected. (Legacy) Feelings From The Air Piano parts in the beginning weren't entirely accurate. You were missing notes for the most part and it seems that you're reluctant to use rainbow notes when needed. Edit is pretty dumpy. Personally, I found no real fun factor let alone replay value in this so I'm going to have to say Rejected. (EnR) Heretics & Killers V2 Well layered and nice application of jacks. Pack already has way too much metal but I'll lightly Accept this since we could use some more variety in terms of stepping styles. (Who_Cares973) Shuriken Cut Very cool file. Accepted.

Re: XOON 4 submissions open
(Cedolad) Cybertron
- Measure 17 can be a hand placement. - Measure 26, the 8th minijack can be jumpjacks. - Measure 33, the 4 jumps can actually be layered as hands. It accents the song better since that part becomes more dominant than the song itself. - Measure 34, first 8th jump can be a hand placement. - Measure 42, the two 8th jumps can be hand placements. - Measure 49 can be a hand placement. - Measure 57 can be a hand placement. - Measure 73 can be a hand placement. - Measure 80 can be a hand placement. Also in the same measure the second 8th jump can be a hand placement. - Measure 81 can be a hand placement. - Measure 88, the three 8th jumps can be hand placements. Remember that this is only my opinion as a judge and arguably you won't necessarily have to do exactly as I point out. Before you make any changes to your file, you might want to wait for Moches or someone else to review your file and see if they'll accept your file as it is. If they'll accept it, you won't need to apply changes and you can pretty much disregard my review and suggestions.

Re: XOON 4 submissions open
I'll still consider the hand placements. I originally stepped Cybertron for FFR and I don't like placing hands in my FFR files but this is SM so, I'll consider your review. Thank you for elaborating

Re: XOON 4 submissions open
crossbone- quit out. not very fun or original, doesn't even take advantage of all the sounds.
crystal wind- sort of obnoxious tbh, seems like another cynthia. inconsistent freezes in the beginning, some parts feel offsync, you do not need ANY minifreezes in the fast part, what was up with that dude. I dunno if this has potential or not but this isn't really it cybertron- quirky song, steps are fine (although I would like cymbal crashes to be accented somehow) but a song like this has lots of quirks that need to be reflected somehow. if you want, I can give you a few pointers on that kind of stuff (mostly mine usage tbh). definitely fix this, it can be pretty awesome. feelings from the air- oh boy a v2. probably my favorite out of your submissions but in Legacy fashion there's a lot of inconsistent freeze usage and missed sounds and such. might just be personal taste but I just didn't like this. heretics and killers- wow. this is so much fun (typical EnR stuff I know :P) but there are a few things you can do. I dunno why some freezes are dual freezes (although Puppet will go nuts over them) and some parts with staccato notes (the [1][4] jumps) could use mines. last jump could be a freeze to end out the song, that would be tight. still definite accept. dj kentaro- holy frick it's files like this that make me jealous of your awesome song choice Carlos. no complaints about this. accept |

Re: XOON 4 submissions open
Alright, so I'm gonna take GD's advice on the hands, moches, mines would make the file seem a lot funner.
