If you AAA a song you never FC'd. . .
. . . you get credit for both the AAA and the FC right? I remember hearing something about it a while ago, but I don't remember the details. I just AAA'd Digital Intervention (surprising for me) while just trying to FC it.

Yes, you got credit for FC'ing it.
In your levelranks, this is your score for it: 496,000* The Astrik next to any score in your levelrank means you have credit for the FC. |

What you remember hearing is probably the following:
You already have a FC, but you get a better score (total score) that is not a FC. Since FFR only remembers your best score. You lose the FC. |
