Seriously though I see nothing wrong with kicking at all. As a matter of fact I think if you can knock someone out with a kick over a punch then that makes you even more badass. Seriously, some of those fighters in UFC have shown that kicking is srs bsnss.

Of course this is all just my opinion.

I'm not addressing stomping. Several people here said kicking was a lame tactic as well. I'm completely aware of the difference. XD
