Re: Favourite anime genre/and finished animes.
Gurren Lagann is fine.
Naruto is a bad anime, but obviously a well respected manga. It's about to hit the title, "history's most internationally popular manga". Anime is more diverse than the non-animation tv shows you find on American tv, though I'm not really prone to that knowledge.

Hm, I only really liked Gurren Lagann and FMA. Other than that I'm not much into anime at all.

Re: Favourite anime genre/and finished animes.
Although I don't believe in any shape or form that the Naruto anime is good, it's not bad either if you watch it like I did; everything up until the fillers. The Naruto fan-base is extremely annoying, but don't mix that up with the actual anime episodes that aren't fillers which I believe were just fine.

Re: Favourite anime genre/and finished animes.
I haven't been a huge fan of anime for long, but I love Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Zombie-Loan, D.Gray-man, Miyazaki films, Darker than black, currently started watching One piece too. Only watched a few episodie of Avatar, but it has been pretty lol. Not watched Naruto, doubt I ever will.

Well, what's wrong with Naruto anime then? except fillers? If it is popular as manga, why not anime?

Nobody needs distorted pictures in anime. Ruins the whole point of watching it. JUMP works all artists to the death, so most animes turn out bad. Short ones like Death Note work out pretty well, but not many JUMP mangas end so quickly anyway.

Gundam Wing is my personal favorite so far but other than that I'd have to go with: Full Metal Alchemist, Negima! (manga), Rozen Maiden, One Piece (not the 4kids awfulness), and Gundam 00.

What a horribly ignorant post. Anime isn't a plot, it has no subject. It is just a genre. Anything that can be said about the plot of anime is the same for any tv series or movie. There are horrible animes like there is horrible of any genre of style of animation. Naruto is not the worst anime though. I hate naruto, but i have seen way worse. Re: Favourite anime genre/and finished animes.
Hametsu no Mars is the best anime.
Closely followed by Hanoka and Cosprayers. Of course, there are many other beautiful masterpieces out there, like Lovedol and Soul Link. But if you're more of an oldschool kinda guy... Classics of yesteryear include MD Geist and Crystal Triangle. |

Re: Favourite anime genre/and finished animes.
I'll take the Midday approach.
Action: I don't watch much action... I do read Rosario+Vampire though... Romance: Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shouganai!! (lol, I like rewatched this multiple times [Yeah, my favorite Romance is a Yaoi, shu'up!]) Mystery: Shion no Ou Sci-Fi: Onegai Teacher Blood: Black Butler (FFR hates on Japanese...) Comedy: Lucky Star Shoujo: Ouran Koko Host-bu Mecha: Stardust Memory (Gundam 0083) Magic: My mind keeps going towards Negima -_-... Mahou Sensei Negima |
